DISTRICT WIDE ASPHALT REPAIR, MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
FDOT District three, district wide maintenance and emergency contract. Pigott Asphalt has had this contract for 5 years and has performed over 50 roadway projects since work started back in 2019. This project includes improvements for FDOT for the entire district 3, this contract consists of milling and resurfacing of asphalt surfaces, removal and replacement of pavement markings, removal and replacement of curb and gutter sections, and other incidental conditions that are encountered within various roadways from Pensacola to Tallahassee FL.
REPAIR STREETS & PARKING VARIOUS ROADS AT PATRICK AFB
This project was performed for Patrick Space Force Base for the repair and milling of existing pavement surface of Space lift Street and Challenger Ave. Concrete repair and curb replacement, joint repair and treatment to minimize reflective cracking by installing fabric under the new asphalt paving from the North Housing Area Matador Street, south to Redstone Road. Also Pigott performed the construction of a new roundabout intersection including sidewalks, curb and traffic separators and landscaping under this same contract.
ROAD REHAB RT 10 LIGHTHOUSE ROAD CONSTRUCT
This project involved the complete rehabilitation of Rt 10, Lighthouse Road in St. Marks, FL for the National Park Service which included milling, resurfacing and paving fabric interlayer of approximately 8.5 miles of roadway.
“REHABILITATION OF MAIN PARK ROAD AND VISITOR CENTER AND NPS HEADQUARTERS PARKING AREAS
The Everglades National Park Project is located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project consisted of the rehabilitation and resurfacing of approximately 9.6 miles of Main Park Road and the rehabilitation of the Visitor Center and NPS Headquarters Parking Areas within the Everglades National Park. The work included asphalt concrete pavement, milling and patching, asphalt concrete pavement, curbs, sidewalk, shoulder and roadway reconditioning, signing, pavement markings, traffic counters, and other miscellaneous work. “
DRAINAGE REPAIR
This project will repair, replace and/or clean silted pipes, grading, and paving in two zones. Zone A includes Beacon Beach Rd and Dejarnette intersection. Zone B include Red Line and its southeasterly area of construction.
WAKULLA SONGBIRD AVE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AND FLOYD GRAY/LAWHON MILL ROAD PAVING PROJECT
The project consists of intersection improvements at two locations along Songbird Avenue. A new right turn lane will be constructed at the intersection of Songbird Avenue and US 319. Additionally, at the intersection of Songbird Avenue and Wakulla Arran Road a new roundabout and associated bike lanes will be constructed. As part of the roundabout construction, a temporary by-pass road will be built. Utility adjustments and drainage improvements will be required at both locations.
In addition to the Songbird Avenue Improvements, the County intends to pave portions of Floyd Gray Road and Lawhon Mill Road.

TYNDALL & AIREY GATE PROJECT
This project is for the design and construction of two gate complexes at the main access points of Tyndall AFB, FL to monitor authorized ingress and egress of vehicles. The complexes are located at the Tyndall Gates on the North Side of Highway 98 and the Airey Gate on the South Side of Highway 98. Each are 5-lane roadways with three lane houses, a permanent self-supported canopy covering the complexes, and a watch station for each gate. Supporting facilities and infrastructure include perimeter fencing, roadways, active and passive barriers, utilities such as electrical, water, sewer, and gas, pavements, site improvement, security enhancements, and other supporting work to make a complete and usable facility.
